Tribes 2 in Reality Bites - General Chat Author: TooL 05-21-2011 09:13 am	There are plenty of servers affiliated with RB so to say. Sadly enough they are all dead. Like the rest of tribes. Everyone is busy. Now by affiliated do you mean running some of the same code or just ran by the same people? +Lazer+ is a mod created by me that has been given the RB crack. DeadTaco permitted me to use tid bits of this and that so Tasha AI and Combat bots have been added to Lazer and Base++. Both of them have other code that make them different from one another. I can give you a list of all servers that I host. Just goto http://tangotool.com and hover over the servers list.
Anyone still play? in Reality Bites - General Chat Author: TooL 05-21-2011 08:37 am	If you lag from going outside of a duel arena then that means that your computer isn't up to par for play smoothly. There are things that you can do to get around things like that. Try not running openGL if you are and try windowed mode. Tribes wasn't the best game for computers even back when it came out. I remember it taking about 2 years for me to run something on openGL. Do you by chance have an ATI video card? I have ran into several problems with more recent ATI cards running any openGL.

Stuck on some really pathetic dial-up, takes opera mini on an emulator to get any kind of bearable speed when browsing the internet. My plan is to get a palm pre and use its mobile hot-spot, only problem is the 5 gig monthly limit on data... Anyone know roughly how much data Tribes uses per hour at semi low internet settings? I assume it should be fine, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, hope to see you guys on Tribes sometime soon. :) also, I hear there's free cookies and ice-cream on the RB server, so everyone better move back to it. >_>
